The LandTrust for Central North Carolina, an accredited Land Trust, is seeking an outgoing, highly organized, energetic, self-starter and outdoor enthusiast that is ready to assist with a multitude of tasks across the LandTrust spectrum. The primary duty of this position will be to track, manage, and correspond with LandTrust members, track financial deposits/financial information, file and manage donor records, provide clerical and administrative support to the organization, and assist with the planning and execution of a variety of events. Additional duties include but are not limited to planning, coordinating, and managing volunteers and volunteer workdays, accurately maintaining financial information/dashboards and other duties as needed. This position will also serve as the administrative assistant to the Board of Directors and several other LandTrust subcommittees. This position will operate out of the Salisbury office.
Prefer candidates with a college degree that are proficient in MS Office products especially (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Due to the regional nature of our work we prefer a candidate that resides in the 10-county region (Anson, Cabarrus, Davidson, Davie, Iredell, Montgomery, Randolph, Richmond, Rowan, and Stanly). This full-time position will report directly to the Membership and Outreach Director. The salary is negotiable and depending upon qualifications but has a general range of $27,500-$32,000. The LandTrust does offer employee health insurance, dental insurance, and limited life insurance.
