Whatley Buffer
Randolph County
15.87 acres EEP Easement
Uniquely located at the confluence of the Uwharrie and Little Uwharrie
River, the Whatley Buffer in Randolph County was placed under easement
through the Ecosystem Enhancement Program (EEP) in 2006. This
15.87 acre buffer will protect riparian habitat on approximately 4500
feet of stream footage combined for the two rivers.
