Not letting the momentum stop, Harold and Helen Earnhardt wished to continue efforts along Second Creek and the year after the Blount Family protected their tract, the Earnhardts did the same.  Situated immediately next to the Blount property, the 131 acre conservation effort has now brought the protected block of land to almost 325 acres.  This property is prized for its wildlife, mature hardwood forest, and permanent riparian buffer along one mile of Second Creek.
